Tony's Trattoria

What is not to love about this place. Cool bar with killer martinis and then into a diningroom with live piano music. The food was great. Old school with style, but its not an old fashioned kind of place, very hip and really god food. Lots of apetizers and funny thing, none of them were the deep-fried frozen junk that I see everywhere else. Likewise the main courses. Steaks, chicken, salmon, veal, pasta. Everything is different and the sauces are killer. I had seafood papperdella which had scallops, mussels, shrimp, and crab and a delicious sauce. My date had chicken marsala and it was tasty, too. We had a molton chocolate cake for dessert, and it was to die for. It takes 15 minutes to make because they bake each one from scratch, but it is definitely worth the wait, WOW, even I liked this dessert. Great service and reasonable prices. In fact, I went out to a chain restaurant , Applebees, and spent more and the food was crappy. I loved this place and will be going there more often. I‘m trying to figure out if I can stand to go out anyplace else for date night besides Tony‘s. I am glad I found it and am planning my next trip to the Trattoria.

Best food I‘ve had in a long time. You can sure tell the difference when a place makes things from scratch instead of out of a bag. I am so sick of eating crap, this place was great and everything was fresh. What a huge menu. I had the best veal I‘ve ever had, Veal Bocconcinni (sp?) which was to die for, and my girlfriend had pizza, go figure. But prices were reasonable and everything was nice. By the way, the pizza was fantastic, I just love those big pieces of homemade sausage, it sure beats those rabbit pellets at some other places I won‘t mention. I had a couple of glasses of wine and they have a huge wine list of stuff by the glass, like over 50 wines, at least. I‘ll be back, probably sooner rather than later.
